Mark-Free Bending Solutions
The sliding friction will produced in the traditional bending, so there will be scratches on the outer surface of the product (the smaller die radius, the the more apparent scratch). In order to solve this problem, LMRM provides a variety of non-indentation tooling structures to reduce or avoid the indentation of the workpiece during the bending process.
Dies With Roller
LMRM offers a die with a roller on the radius part. During bending, the roller rotates under the drive of the product so rolling friction occurs between the outer side of the product and the roller, and the scratch marks are significantly reduced after forming. And the roller is made of high hardness material, which greatly improves the service life of the mold.
Dies With Polyurethane Insert
The dies adopt the structure with polyurethane insert, which can completely eliminate the marking on the outside of the product, but the bending angle is difficult to control. So it is only suitable for bending products with low bending dimensional accuracy.
Rolla-V Dies
The structure of the Rolla-V die is changed from a fixed overall V-groove structure to a symmetrical left and right rotating flap, so that the product does not slide relatively to the left and right rotating flap during the bending process.
The advantages of the Rolla-V die:
★ Modular structure, precision manufacturing and high tooling precision;
★ Avoid mark on the workpieces;
★ Bending the laser-cut sheet without causing damage to the tooling;
★ Short flange bending;
★ Bending around holes and grooves without deformation.
